Duties:
# Ensure all Laboratory routine analyses are conducted professionally

# Ensure LIMS is in excellent working condition and constantly work with vendors to improve the system

# Ensure all Laboratory analytical methodologies are continuously improved and updated to meet company global standards

# Ensure all facilities are in working order and maintained in proper working condition

# Ensure housekeeping in the Laboratory premises are according to the 5S principle

# Ensure reporting is up-to-date and timely distributed

# Implement training programs for staff to ensure all-round competence

# Ensure sufficient stocks of chemicals and other apparatus, maintain inventory records

# Assist in maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system for the Laboratory


Requirements:
* Degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in chemistry (preferably in a manufacturing environment of a leading multinational company)

* Licensed member of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM)

* Good understanding of instrumentation methods conforming to ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

* Strong people management skills, with previous work experience in a supervisory capacity

* Flexible and able to handle long working hours

* Highly organized and able to work under pressure

* Good communication skills with proficiency in both English & Bahasa Malaysia

* Good PC skills especially in MS applications & knowledge of related IT systems

* Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.

* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.
